WHAT'S GOING ON?

(Spring 2026)

Recently, Montréal's Orchestre Métropolitain included, "Just Keep Paddling" (commissioned by the Toronto Symphony) in a new production entitled, "La Plume et la Tortue". Here's a review in le Devoir.

I'm currently working on some new choir works and chamber orchestra pieces, and composing music for the Belfry Theatre's final production for this season.

The Belfry Theatre's 75th birthday celebration happens in May, and I'm part of a team planning the music as part of a big celebration.

Meanwhile in China, this was published on March 19th:

"In the final competition [...] the choir stunned the audience. Canadian composer Tobin Stokes' a cappella contemporary work, *Ikimilikiliklik*, ignited the stage with its captivating rhythm and expressive body language."
